-
Each of us is Gifted.
-
We wrongly tend to put more importance on certain gifts.
-
Getting spiritual gifts / speaking in tongues is not a merit badge, nor is it the most important thing in our spiritual walk
-
We must walk in unity and unconditional or Agape love.
-
The Gifts of God do not interrupt the message of God.
-
We tend to overlook the positive in people, and instead look for and latch on to people's shortcomings.
-
There are people who do necessary tasks, like general maintenance around church, who are not always appreciated. We would certainly notice if those things were not done
-
God wants us to be faithful at our labor. We must be faithful in doing what we can until God shows up.
-
We must even love our enemies
-
Christ did not take the church with him, and instead left the church to witness to the world
-
Nothing we do for the glory of God is above something else done for the glory of God
-
When we are faithful, it is not what we accomplish that matters. God provides the increase.
-
We should give God the glory for everyone in church.

Pastor closed with these five thoughts:
1. There should never be any arrogance or pride on the part of the person/people with the most visible ministry.
2. There should be no envy or jealousy from those with more common gifts.
3. Each member should realize the gift or ministry is important to others and should be diligent and faithful.
4. If any member suffers the body should try to heal them.
5. If any member is honored the body should rejoice with them.
